The gameplay centers around Silat movements which has never been done on any game before. The game focuses on parries and counterattacks to incapacitate your enemies. Players will also wield historically-accurate weapons used by the Kesultanan Melaka soldiers of the 15th century, immersing players into the world of forgotten Malay History.

MELAKA HISTORY

ISTANA KESULTANAN MELAKA

Istana Kesultanan Melaka primarily represents the cultural and architectural heritage of the Malacca Sultanate, it also played a significant role during wartime in its history. The palace was a strategic stronghold during the various conflicts that occurred during the sultanate’s reign, often serving as a command center for military operations.

Istana Kesultanan Melaka witnessed the resilience of the Malaccan people in defending their kingdom against foreign invasions, with notable conflicts involving the Portuguese in the early 16th century. The palace’s existence today serves as a symbol of the enduring spirit and heritage of the Malacca Sultanate throughout its tumultuous history. The Istana Kesultanan Melaka functions as a museum, offering visitors a glimpse into the history and culture of the Malacca Sultanate. It houses a collection of artifacts, royal regalia, and exhibits on the sultanate’s history.

KERIS

Keris is an asymmetrical dagger unique to the regions of Southeast Asia, with its existence intertwined with the history of Tanah Melayu. It is not just a weapon, but also a symbol of status and spirituality among the Malays.

The Keris is characterized by its ‘wave’ shaped blade called lok. Deceptively ornamental in design, the wave shape is meant to serve the keris’ function as a stabbing weapon to further increase the damage done to enemies. By stabbing and then pulling the keris back, it causes more internal damage compared to a straight blade. Hence why keris was very predominant during the warring era of Tanah Melayu.

SHIP

The Malay Perahu, or Malay boat, is a traditional watercraft that has been an integral part of the Southeast Asian maritime culture for centuries. These vessels played a crucial role in the Malay Sultanate era, specifically in the Melaka Sultanate, which was a significant global trading hub.

Perahu encompasses all the different kinds of boats in the Malay craftsmanship, from individuals to navy and trading purposes. Kesultanan Melaka tend to favor thinner, more agile ships compared to the Western huge design. This fits in line with the Malays’ propensity for guerrilla warfare, their naval warfare tactics tend to be based on run-and-gun methods which confused the bigger and slower European naval ships.

CHARACTER

Andika

Our story follows Andika, a young man from Melaka who hopes to be accepted into the Melaka Army. He is known to be polite, soft-spoken and kind towards everyone he meets. But beneath the kind and gentle spirits, lies a man with deadly skills that comes out whenever he needs it.
